Neah Kelly was raised on Vancouver Island, Canada. She received a BFA from Concordia University in Montreal and an MFA from Indiana University. She has exhibited across the U.S. and Canada, participating in group shows at Woman Made Gallery (Chicago), Site: Brooklyn (New York), and IPCNY (New York). Recent activities include a two-person show at Atelier Circulaire (Montreal), and residencies at KKV Grafik Printmaking Workshop (Malmö, Sweden), Martha Street Studio (Winnipeg, MB), and the Bonnie McComb Kreye Residency (Victoria, BC). This year she’ll be participating in a solo show at Centre for Artistic and Social Practice (Hamilton, ON), and a two-person exhibition at Martha Street Studio (Winnipeg, MB). She currently resides in Hamilton, Canada.
Her artistic practice consists of printmaking (lithography, screenprint, intaglio), drawing, and recycling these prints into hand-sewn sculptures, installation, and bookbinding. She is interested in stimulating and instigating creativity, not just from herself, but from all those around her.
